Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca announce pirate-themed resort in Benidorm
In a thrilling revelation, it has been confirmed that the dynamic powerhouse in Levantine hospitality, Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca, is set to unveil a sensational new themed resort in Benidorm (Alicante) in the summer of 2025, as previously teased in October 2023.
Following the acquisition and unveiling of the 'Magic World' project in the Marina d’Or area of Oropesa del Mar (Castellón), both companies have officially kicked off construction for the eagerly anticipated 'Magic Pirates Island.'
This marks the second complex in close proximity to the Terra/Aqua Natura theme parks and the second resort to arise in Benidorm through the collaboration of Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca. The first, the Magic Natura Resort, a 350-cabin haven, was successfully renovated in 2018.
Spanning an impressive 32,000 square metres, the project envisions around 270 themed cabins inspired by legendary pirates. These cabins will be integral to a vast thematic complex tailored for families and equipped with "cutting-edge entertainment technology." Various creative methodologies have been employed to ensure an immersive experience.
The 50-50 investment split between Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca will not only provide the area with these unique cabins but also feature pool areas, recreational zones, and new bars and restaurants.
Leaders from Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca have hailed the commencement of construction as "extremely positive" news for the economy and tourism on the Costa Blanca.
They anticipate that the resort will generate over 200 jobs for the area, while simultaneously adding significant value and delivering leisure, fun, and relaxation experiences to the destination. Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure at the 'Magic Pirates Island'!
