Unfinished aparthotel in Alicante will be finished 20 years after licence was granted
Constructors, Cerámica de Román Brotons, are set to breathe new life into the unfinished hotel project on Albufereta Beach in Alicante, which has been untouched since 2015.
As reported by Cadena SER, the company has applied for a license to complete the infrastructure and transform it into a two-star aparthotel with a total of 65 studio rooms.
This project has been in the works for 20 years, as the initial license was granted back in 2004, and has been an eyesore on the landscape for almost 10 years.
It is fully expected that the licence will be granted as the Alicante City Council has stated that it considers the project "a priority."
