Jet2 unveils winter sun program for 2025/26 with increased capacity and new routes
Jet2 Group has launched its 'Winter Sun' program for the 2025/2026 season, increasing its capacity by 5%. The British tourism conglomerate, which includes the airline Jet2.com and the tour operator Jet2holidays, announced that the operation will offer 4.2 million air seats to 14 destinations, with seven of these located in Spain.
The airline will operate flights from its 12 UK airport bases, including its newest addition in Bournemouth. The other airports include Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds-Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, Newcastle International, and London Stansted.
In Spain, Jet2 Group will operate routes to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Mallorca, Alicante, and Málaga. Internationally, the program will cover destinations in Morocco (Marrakech and Agadir), Portugal (Faro and Madeira), Turkey (Antalya), Malta, and Cyprus (Paphos). In total, it features 150 routes from the 12 UK bases.
Significantly, the program sees a substantial increase in operations to Morocco in response to high demand, despite it being only the second year of service. For the winter of 2025/26, a new route from Newcastle to Marrakech has been added, along with additional connections to Agadir from Bristol, Glasgow, and Leeds-Bradford.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said: "The Winter Sun program for 2025/26 is our largest ever, and we are thrilled to offer 14 sunny destinations from our 12 UK airport bases. This exciting program includes our first winter sun schedule from our new Bournemouth base, as well as a major expansion of our popular Moroccan program in just our second year of operating winter sun services to Morocco.”
This announcement underlines Jet2 Group's commitment to meeting the growing demand for winter sun holidays for Brits looking to escape the cold and enjoy warmer weather during the winter months.
